POLICY FOR:
LARGE GROUPS – 10-18 guests (see policy below for 19+ guests )
We must have a minimum of two weeks’ notice of the group’s desired reservation date and time. A month’s notice is recommended; you are more likely to find our calendar open for your event’s desired date and time.
If any guests wish to order any of the specialty teas (Lady Grey Afternoon Tea or Queen’s High Tea or Royal High Tea), we need at least 72 hours notification before reservation. Pre-ordering for all other menu items can be made two (2) days ahead of reservation.
We will need to know ahead of time if guests will need to be billed individually, or if there will be one combined bill.
A 17% gratuity will be added to each bill (individual and/or combined).
Food pre-orders will be charged to the group, even if one or more guests are not present on the reserved date.
We are glad to meet your Vegetarian or other special dietary requests; we will need 72 hours notice, and an extra charge of $1.00 - $5.00 (depending on the specific request) will be added to bill.
POLICY FOR:
BRIDAL SHOWERS – BABY SHOWERS – LARGE BIRTHDAYS – OTHER LARGER EVENTS (19 or more guests)
A minimum of 30 days notice is required for your desired reservation.
Group representative will make an appointment to meet with Tea Room owner to discuss details of the event (i.e. bridal colors for centerpieces, menu, optional cake order, optional favors, etc.). *Menu will be determined at that time.
Recommended menus are: Lady Grey Afternoon Tea (*$15.95 per guest) or Queen’s High Tea (*$20.95 per guest). (*2008 prices)
A deposit will be required to reserve the Tea Room for event (minimum of $75.00; more for extra large group). Deposit will apply toward final bill.

Groups of 20-35 will be able to have the entire Tea Room – the Tea Room will be closed to other customers for that day. There will be a minimum charge of $600.00 for such events (i.e. all food orders, etc. must equal or exceed $600.00). This cost is for a 2-3 hour event. Additional charge of $50.00 per 15 minutes will be charged for groups staying longer than 3 hours.
POLICY FOR:
CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY/TEA PARTIES
(Ages 6 and older)
In the case of a large children’s party (5 children or more), an Adult representative will make an appointment to meet with Tea Room owner to discuss details of the party.
A minimum of one adult per 4 children is required to be in attendance at party.
Each child will be charged the price of the Princess Maisie Tea, which includes tart, tea sandwiches, scone, desserts, and lemonade, tea or hot chocolate.
Adults in attendance will be able to order from the regular menu (minimum $5.00 individual charge).
No outside cakes or desserts are allowed (Department of Health Laws). If a cake is desired, our pastry chef can recommend from simple to fanciful – a cake to delight any child (prices vary by size, design, etc.).
Well-behaved children are happily welcome. Hats and boas are available for dress-up use. Children will be expected to remain at their tables during the party so as not to disturb other guests in the Tea Room. Children may visit the gift shop area with adult supervision.
GROUP EVENTS “AFTER HOURS”
Evening (after hours) events require a minimum of $600.00 for use of facility and catering of your event. This cost is for a two (2) hour event. We are open Tuesday through Saturday, so evening events are for any of these evenings. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
